Re: [MW:35395] ERNiCr3 Vs ERNiCrMo-3 for UNS N08810 welding

Use NiCr3 or NiCrCoMo1.  (Inconel 625 Will be subjected to second hardening effect when it is exposed at this tem for longer periods. )

Dear Sirs,

Please confirm the following weld details for my below 2 queries.

We have a tube to tube welding , in which the material is SB407 UNS N08810 ( P No. 45 ) and the design temperature is about 800 Deg C.

1) Can we use either ERNiCr3 GTAW weld rod Or ERNiCrMo-3 considering the above design temperature for UNS N08810, without having metallurgy issues , cracking etc?

Or which is the best suitable AWS class GTAW rod to withstand 800 Deg C for this weld?

2) To weld dissimilar materials , that is SB407 UNS N08810 ( P No. 45 ) to A312 TP 321H ( P No. 8 ), can we use ERNiCrMo-3 for a design temperature about 800 Deg C ?

Please give me some advice.
