[MW:35384] Flange serration damage circumferentally

Gentlemen,

As per ASME B16.5 the flange serration damage acceptance criteria given for radial projection (Damage across serration). What about the acceptance if it circumferentially damaged even the width within the acceptance limit of Table 3.

Suppose we measure the damage of flange face on a 24 inch flange, the radial projection ( difference between outer edge and inner edge) is 3 mm. As per Table 3 for 24 inch flange it is acceptable. If the same defect in same width continues around circumference, what will be the acceptance criteria?
