Proper metallurgical answer: don't weld

If one needs to weld anyway, then are 2 options:

1) High preheat 500 - 700 degrees centigrade, preferred in a furnace, welding with Acetylene Oxygen flame with special cast iron welding bars, slow cooling afterwards, risk of size tolerance issues

2) Cold, low input 2.5 mm SMAW process, with hammering the hot weld metal to reduce thermal stress in the HAZ , risk of cracking

Keep in mind that risk of failure is large
