You can make a new, "Supplementary PQR" as it is safer and cleaner from a compliance and transparency
standpoint. You prepare a new PQR document with all the welding parameters repeated from the original PQR,
plus the new hardness test results.
You can add a note referencing the original PQR number (i.e., "This PQR was performed under the same welding
conditions as PQR-001 (provide actual details) to incorporate the hardness testing per client requirements").

Dear Experts,
We have a qualified PQR (P1 to P8) that doesn't include hardness testing. We're submitting this PQR for a new project, but the client requires hardness testing. To address this, we plan to:
1. Create a new PQR following the same parameters as the original PQR.
2. Conduct hardness testing and add the results to the new PQR.
We're unsure about the best approach to incorporate the hardness test results into our existing PQR documentation. We have two options:
Option 1- Add the hardness values to the original PQR as Addendum-1.
Option 2- Create a new PQR that includes all the previous data and name it as a Supplementary PQR.
Could you please guide us on the best approach to take?
