Use the PQR if:

The PQR includes Inconel 625 overlay testing (chemical composition, corrosion resistance) on P1.

The job's weld is primarily between Inconel 625 overlays.

All essential variables (welding process, thickness, etc.) are within the PQR's qualified range.

You confirm compliance with the project's code and client requirements.

 

Do not use the PQR if:

The job involves significant base metal welding (P1-to-P1) beyond the overlay, as QW-424.2 may not apply.

The PQR lacks overlay-specific tests or data for Inconel 625.

The project requires a P1-to-P1 PQR.

 

Final Guidance

Draft the WPS: Base it on the PQR, ensuring compliance with QW-424.2 and job requirements.

Consider a New PQR: If the PQR doesn't meet all conditions or project requirements, qualify a new PQR for 

P1 + Inconel 625 to P1 + Inconel 625 to ensure compliance.

PQR : P1+ inconel 625 WOL(PWHT) TO P43

Job : P1+Inconel 625 to P1+Inconel 625

Can we use this PQR to weld the Job preparing a WPS accordingly.

Can any one suggest please.
