Yes, you can fix a 6 mm round bar for LRB (Lifting Ring Bracket) fixing in the tank shell made of A516 Gr.60, provided the thickness is above 12.5 mm.
For welding the round bar, you can use low hydrogen electrodes such as E7018 or E7015. These electrodes provide excellent mechanical properties and a low-hydrogen weld deposit, which helps prevent hydrogen-induced cracking.
