Dear Mr. Kuppasamy,
At high temperatures, you can use UT (using specialized high temperature transducers and couplants
for internal defects), Eddy Current Test (for surface & subsurface cracks), RT, MPT (with specially
formulated high-temp inspection mediums for surface and subsurface) and PT ( high temp. penetrants are
available for use at 300 deg. C) for surface detections.
The selection of the NDT method depends on factors like material type, weld configuration, inspection
accessibility.
