Sir,

The interpass temperature for welding ASTM A572 Gr 50 typically ranges from 150°F to 300°F (65°C to 150°C).

where you get this limits sir?

The interpass temperature when welding ASTM A572 Gr 50 with electrode E11018M (ENiCrMo-3) depends on the specific welding procedure and project requirements. However, here are some general guidelines:

- The interpass temperature for welding ASTM A572 Gr 50 typically ranges from 150°F to 300°F (65°C to 150°C).
- For electrode E11018M, the recommended interpass temperature is usually between 200°F to 250°F (90°C to 120°C).
- It's essential to consult the welding procedure specification (WPS) and the electrode manufacturer's recommendations for specific interpass temperature limits.
- Maintaining the appropriate interpass temperature helps prevent weld defects, ensures proper weld penetration, and achieves the desired mechanical properties.

Remember to always consult the relevant welding codes, standards, and project specifications for the specific interpass temperature requirements.
