SS316Ti  contains Titanium which forms Titanium carbide and thus prevents Intergranular cracking in SS, the composition of ER318 is similar to SS 316 except with the addition of Niobium (columbium) which forms Niobium carbide and provides the stabilization effect and prevents Intergranular cracking.
