[MW:33492] Re: FCAW - Procedure Qualification Test

Dear Experts,
Greetings!!

Anyone knows the reason for very low impact test values on the weld centerline.
Thanks in advance.

Welding Process : FCAW
Material : SA 516 Gr.70 N, 20 mm Thickness
PWHT : 610 ° C ± 10° C, @ 120 Minutes
Tensile, Bend, Macro & Hardness Values are Accepted.
But in the Charpy Impact Test @ -28° C  , Average on WCL is 09 Joule
In HAZ the average is 217 Joule.

Filler Wire Details
K-71T1-C1, AWS A5.20, 1.2 mm Diameter
Impact Values (as per MTC) , Charpy V-Notch -20° C, Avg. 54 J & Min. 27 J
