Anyone knows the reason for very low impact test values on the weld centerline.
Thanks in advance.
Welding Process : FCAWMaterial : SA 516 Gr.70 N, 20 mm ThicknessPWHT : 610 ° C ± 10° C, @ 120 MinutesTensile, Bend, Macro & Hardness Values are Accepted.But in the Charpy Impact Test @ -28° C , Average on WCL is 09 JouleIn HAZ the average is 217 Joule.Filler Wire DetailsK-71T1-C1, AWS A5.20, 1.2 mm DiameterImpact Values (as per MTC) , Charpy V-Notch @ -20° C, Avg. 54 J & Min. 27 JThank You & RegardsWilliams P Wilson+968-94600828QA/QC EngineerPlease consider the environment before printing this message
