Thanks  Mr. Venkatachalam,

The details provided by me gives only a guideline for selecting appropriate welding consumable based on suitability and matching chemical composition.

Apart from this there are various API, NACE, NiDL, SSA, Client specification and various Technical Articles which must be considered apart from the recommendation of ASME Sec.IIC based on Application such as Refinery, Natural Gas Plants, Petrochemical plants, Fertilizer plants etc. for Equipment and piping. It is always better to consult a Welding Engineer or Welding consultant/
