[MW:27256] Thickness of Painting (DFT)

Dear Experts,

I'm very fresh for Painting Inspection, Kindly advise me for following 

In the data sheet it is mentioned maximum DFT  is 350 microns, when I measured on the piping its shows 1000 microns  and above, Please clarify is it acceptable or not which international standards should i follow and what are defect will occur due to the higher thickness of coating.

 Looking forward for yours kind valuable feedback.
