[MW:27252] Welding of Austenitic Gray cast Iron (A436), Austentic Ductile Iron (A439)

Hello,

I wanted to know if these two grades are weldable? (Welding of Austenitic Gray cast Iron (A436) and Austentic Ductile Iron (A439))

I dont want to join these two grades. I just want to know if I have a casting of either A436 or A439, can we do weld repair?

Our casting supplier says these grades are not weldable. If they are weldable kindly let me know if there is a specific method to do so? What is the best suitable electrode?

Many thanks.
