[MW:35901] Request for Consumable Estimation Sheet for GTAW/SMAW Pipeline Welds

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

I am seeking technical assistance in developing a welding consumable estimation format for pipeline fabrication.
For reference, consider the following joint configuration:

  • Pipe Size: 16-inch

  • Wall Thickness: 12.7 mm (XS)

  • Welding Process: GTAW (root & hot pass) followed by SMAW (fill & cap)

I would appreciate a standardized consumable-calculation template—preferably in Excel or PDF—to accurately determine filler metal requirements, deposition rates, joint volume, and allowable tolerances for this type of weld.

Thank you in advance for your support and technical guidance.
