[MW:23806] PP material for aea water application

Hi friends,
I would like to understand how good the PP(polyproelyene) is suitable to sea water application.
We are replacing some valves in the sea water lines, and one of the proposal came to us is PP, is the PP suitable to sea water? Any adverse affects are their for this?
Please share your views on this..
