[MW:34743] ASME Sec IX interpretation record No # 17-3316

Gents,

Fillet welding qualification according to ASME Sec IX 2023
PQR Material - EN 10025-2 S355JR to EN 10025-2 S275JR.

As per QW-424.1, the above materials are listed in the table QW/QB-422 and identified as below
EN 10025-2 S355JR - P-No.1, G.No.2
EN 10025-2 S275JR - P-No.1, G.No.1

The proposed WPS shall cover one metal from the P-No.1 to any metal from the P-No.1 for the range of qualification.

However referring to ASME Sec IX interpretation record No # 17-3316 (attached), the interpretation seems different for Material SA/EN 10028-2 P355GH.

Please clarify, if my understanding is correct.

Regards,
Vijay
