And because you do not take the option of making a new WPS according to ASME IX, using the same laboratory tests that you already have from your old WPS (EN 15609-1), this assuming that those laboratory tests comply with ASME IX, you are mixing standards indiscriminately, sooner or later it will cause you some kind of problem, if I were your client I would not accept such a thing as qualifying a welder under ASME IX with a WPS EN 15609-1.
