Hi Aby,

 

More enriched version of mixed gases, e.g. 90Ar+10 O₂ or other Ar enriched blends may help. Look at this guide ,which has few  good recommendations about shielding gases.

Dear all,

 

What shielding gas should be used for the pulsed GMAW welding of carbon steel? When trying with 80%Ar+20%CO2 mixture I am getting a lot of spatters. The welding used is Automatic welding with Robotic machine.

Any recommendations???
