June has only 30 days not 31. The interpretation is correct.

Dear Friends

You might informed about it I am just sharing the information...

Find attached Interpretation regarding Welder continuity as per ASME SEC IX.

What I understood is if a welder is qualified on 1st Jan...his qualification will expire on Jun 31...If suppose this welder has done welding works with this process for first 2 months only (Feb end) & did not weld after that. On June 31st while revalidation of his qualification he will get validity for next two month ie upto August end only not upto Dec 31.

Hope to have your understanding.

Best regards

 Aly
