Dear Mervin,

Variation between set and actual value = 332 - 320 = + 12

Variation between set and actual value (in %) = + (12/320) x 100 = + 3.75 %

Hence, that is within the acceptable limit.

Dear expert,

Can you help me how to calibrate the welding machines and how to know if the machine is acceptable. Because i have dought the report of one of machine calibrated.

The machine amp setting (DCA) is 320 and the test reading AMP 1st is 330 2nd is 334 and the average amp is 332 so the diffrence is +12%. As per the code +- 10% of the true value.

My question is is this acceptable or not..
