RE: [MW:18914] 3.5 % Nickel Steel ( A 203 Gr E)

Please check with the following companies on welding resources for 3.5% Ni steel:-
  • Bohler Thyssen
  • Oerlikon
  • Lincoln weld -Metrode
Some  samples are as attached. 3.5% Ni steel consumables are "easily" guaranteed for impact down up to -101 Deg C as a standard. Consumable manufacturers routinely include this data in their catalogue .If you require anything specific , bets would be to communicate with the manufacturers.
 
Few members of the above 3 companies do participate in this forum on regular basis and may be of help.

For Material I do not have any problem, I am quite concerned about welding

dear Purvin,
your material and weld procedure tested at minus 100 degC holds good for minus 106degC. Refer section VIII div 1 table UG 84.4  for yield strength less than 280Mpa. SA 203 Gr E fits into.
