RE: [MW:18849] Aluminium welding process in ship building

Dear suresh, GMAW & GTAW are the best welding processes for aluminum alloys. My experience say that GTAW is good for the repair of welded joints, specially in aluminium alloys. 5083 and 5456 are wide used in seawater applications.
