Dear friend,
1. It is totally incorrect that NDT level 3 shall review the NDT reports.
2. NDT reports can be reviewed by anybody.
3. NDT results shall be interpreted and evaluated by minimum level 2. NDT can be performed by level 2 or level 1 (provided necessary instruction / direction are given by level 2 or level 3 to level 1 personnel). In fact, SNT TC 1A permits specific evaluation by level 1 for ‘acceptance / rejection determinations’. But most of the clients and codes don’t permit any evaluation by level 1.
4. Please refer SNT TC 1A section 4.0 and the written practice for further details.
