Dear sir,

There is one standard AWS D 1.10,which is have consumable selection procedure for welding dissimilar metals, like P1 to P4,P5A,P5B( Carbon stell to all type of alloy stell & SS).
you can verify "products & welding hand book" made by D&H secheron company,which also have the details.

you can get all infn from these books.
