Re: [MW:16717] welding of 13% cr steel

Dear Ezat:

As a general recommendation for welding 13%Cr alloy you can use 309 or
310 filler metal (I recommend 310 over 309)
Use preheat of 250-300 degrees and try to maintain it during welding.
You may need PWHT (holding temperature is higher than 650 degrees)
based on the thickness of the pipe and your process fluid.
