[MW:16511] Thickness of overlay on CS for PWHT

Dear Experts

I have got a fillet joint of CS slip-on flange (THK 58mm) to stainless steel flare tip (thk 6mm).
where as the CS shall be post weld heat treated we shall overlay the CS part with E309 electrode and then  carry out PWHT.
My question is about overlay thickness. is there any reference/std for overlay thickness to avoid any further damage in HAZ after PWHT and welding to stainless steel?
Thank you in advance for worthwhile ideas.
