[MW:16510] Welding of IS 2062

Dear sirs,

One of my customers is doing structural welding and using material - IS 2062 Fe 410 Gr B. Thickness is 10mm.

While carrying out welders’ tests, the specimen failed in Root bend test.  The specimen passed in radiographic test and tensile test. The welding was done using radiographic quality welding electrodes – E 6013.

Kindly advise what could be the reason.

Regards,

For Arc welding company,
