[MW:15938] Regarding 45 & 60 deg probes

Dear experts

commonly we are use 45 & 60 deg for higher thickness (more than 40mm thk).

Questions:-

1) we be able to use 45 deg probe no more than near surface evaluation, why we necessitate to use far surface furthermore with 45 deg probe?

2) we are use already 45 deg probe into near surface, once more we necessitate to use 60 deg probe in near surface as well?

3) Suppose we use for near surface 45 deg and for far surface 60 deg there is any code opposition as well as any variations between both?

4) what is the advantages as well as disadvantages with 45 and 60 deg probes?

Thanks with regards

SHEIKH.
