Dear Sir,

From the below post, I reckon that the information you need is how to connect electrode cable to the underground pipe:-

*All cables should be carefully inspected to detect defects in insulation and the cable for the rectifier negative terminal should be connected to the Pipe (structure to be protected), cable connections to the rectified must be mechanically scure and electrically conductive.

*All buried or submerged lead wire attachments should be coated with an electrically insulating material, compatible with the external pipe coating and wire insulation.

Please notify if further information is needed.

Regards,
Manpreet Singh

Dear Mr. Manpreet Singh
Many thanks for your response…
Actually, I am working as a consultant engineer in crude oil tank construction project in the south of Iraq. They ask me to design ICCP system for tanks and underground pipe. Up to my information connecting of silicon iron electrodes to the tank body was known. The problem is how to connect electrode cable to the underground pipe, I think they used a special procedure to do that…..So, would you please help me with an information about the standard method or any other method….
Accept my profound regards…
