Re: [MW:14735] Regarding Yield Strength in stress strain Graph of Tensile Test

Dear Mohit,

It mean when you draw line 0.2% offset to the stress vs strain graph
i.e in the elastic region stress directly proportional to strain the
line will be straight at yield point the stress will remain constant
and strain increase thats the reason if you draw a line 0.2% of gage
length offset it will cut the graph where strain increase without any
increase in stress that point is consider as yield point at 0.2%
offset.
