Here is the answer for you as per ASME QW-451
1.the applicable range of thickness of BM is 1.5 to 6mm
2.the applicable range of thickness of Weld Metal is 0 to 6mm

Dear Sir,
Unable to clarify as it is not mentioned whether the PQR is qualified on a groove joint or fillet joint. Also it is not clear that the new WPS proposed to be supported by the PQR qualified is meant for welding groove joints or fillet joints.

Hi,  You are correct, Minimum refers to the one cycle for which this part will expose until final work shop PWHT. hence mill test certificate shall include this.  Max. SPWHT, refers to additional cycles of heat treatment that are reserved for future repairs during equipment lifetime.  Again, these simulated no.
