All the other requirement like impact test and other supplementary requirement if any should also be verified.

A vessel is being fabricated as per ASME SEC VIII DIV 1.

 

 SA 350 LF2 CL1 , 3000# HALF COUPLING is reuired to be welded directly on shell of the Vessel. 

 

Is it allowed  by Code to make the above coupling by machining SA 516 GR 70 HIC Plate.
