Re: [MW:14307] ENiCrMo6 - AC operating

Thanks Mr.Lynn Bailey,

The issue is not only arc blow, the deposit becomes magnetic, which is not acceptable.

What can be the reason for this & how to avoid the same?

Srinivasan

Wouldn't be better to position the ground clamp in several different locations on the work pice?

Dear Experts,

We have a job to be welded with ENiCrMo6 which operates on DC.

We need to weld with AC current due to Arc Blow / Magnetism.

Is it possible to have SMAW electrode of same specification, operating on AC without compromising Mechanical Properties?

Please advice.

Regards,

Srinivasan
