Re: [MW:14269] RT Source Side/Film Side

Your IQI is simply to measure %sensitivity of the applied technique  to render details, linearity is increased when on source side, however the SFD might have to be increased to be able to capture thinnest wire required and scatter effect, slow not ideal for pipeline situation. ideal for PQT to reset sensitivity when on IQI is on film side. (consider thinner wire)Also ideal offset, elliptical and SWSI. technique.

Hope that helps,

Subject: [MW:14262] RT Source Side/Film Side

Dear Experts,

I would like to know which gives the best result - whether to place the IQI on source or film side?
and what is the reason...
Whether it have affect the result in interpretation?
If we forget to place the IQI as required, i mean on the film side, how to judge from the film?

Thanks & Regards
