RE: [MW:14259] Any where mentioned about welding machine calibration is required for pipeline

I don't think submission of equipment calibration cert. is stated in any welding code but it's a norm/good practice before WQT or PQT or any work requiring such equipment is carried out. It is always stated in any good quality contractual document. Moreover, It is one of the QC preliminary requirements before welding will commence including the voltage/current/temperature measuring devices.

dear mani,
 All welding machines should be calibrated by yearly basis or 6 months
once or as per manufacturer procedures.its mandatory things in
welding, why i am telling this for example,
in wqt, or pqr or any other documents we need to submit calibration
certificates for all equipments.
