Dear friends,
-- We are having surface condenser where steam is condensing by using sea water. sea water in tube side and condensate in shell side under vacuum. It has been failed due to tube leaking and tube failure due to pitting it is not due to erosion. it is also strange that pitting not only in the tube ID sea water side but also in the OD.
So please Advice what may be the reason.
