Dear Mr. Raviraman,
Usually the heat input is below 2KJ/mm.
For SDSS it is min0.5 to 1.8KJ/mm max. & for higher thickness greater than 25mm 2.4KJ/mm is also acceptable as per DNV.
To Experts: - Please let me know where we can find range for Heat Input for other materials.
