Dear jignesh

 

The standard distance for longitudinal seem between deposit weld shall be 75mm-150mm.

So base on the standard specification any overlap weld aside from longitudinal are accepted.

Follow the TKY joint for structure as your reference.

How can we accept above situation with resepct to any technical justification (PTC etc...)!

Hi,  You are correct, Minimum refers to the one cycle for which this part will expose until final work shop PWHT. hence mill test certificate shall include this.  Max. SPWHT, refers to additional cycles of heat treatment that are reserved for future repairs during equipment lifetime.  Again, these simulated no.
