Re: [MW:12061] Roller marks

Accept it.

No harm accepting as it is considering its not sharp. But make sure that this is in knowledge of your client and take them in confidence before taking any final decesion.

Dear Experts,

Operating temperature = below 120deg

But it is CRA clad piping spools.
Found visible this defect after blasting.
0.5-0.6mm radial deep/3mm width not sharp corner.
And wall thickness is more than the standard.

Dear Navaneethakumar,

We faced the same problem. when i was working in one of the neuclear power project for utility water piping(SA106 gr.b) ,we rejected the pipes because the depth of impression is more and visually  we can  able to detect.(after painting it will show more ripple like apperance.)

Better reject the pipes.

Mr Navaneethakumar,

Please can you  give more details like design code, service condition. design temperature and pressure.

if the  service condition are   high pressure&temperature  then these are not acceptable..!!

if it is normal  pressure  and temperature depends on service condition you  can make your  judgement and accepted..!!

simply rejecting is not a correct solution always !!!!
