GTAW WITH CERAMIC CONSUMABLE INSERT WILL GIVES YOU GOOD PENETRATION  AT ROOT IN CAP & FILL .BALANCE YOU CAN GO WITH SAW OR SMAW .AS SAW IS AUTOMATIC THE TIME FOR WELDING IS CONSIDERABLE LOW .

So far we are following SMAW+SAW with the following varaiable

First two pass with E7018 followed by SAW using the filler EM12K after the completion of one side, back grinding then SAW using the filler EM12K  ,we are getting good quality weld by this procedure, but the cost and time is seems to be very high .Can we avoid back welding by using the electrodes with good penetration like E7010 ?  Is it have any further alternatives available for us..?
