Limesh, Normally the direction in which the data is stenciled/printed/painted will be the direction of rolling.

"For butt weld test assemblies Identification of the rolling direction of the used plates shall be provided." My query is that,is it possible to identify the rolling direction by naked eye?If possible what is the trick behind it?
