RE: [MW:11610] Phosphorus content in Material composition

Dear sachin,

Phosphorus is Important to refine the grain structure but it also dangerous produce stress cracking in service life if you could not control during casting/Rolling/ Forging.

As per NACE, Phosphorus limit is 0.0025 Max. For forging & 0.0030 for rolled structures.

How much in % effect of Phosphorus content will affect the grain structure(any curves). Is there any specific requirement in NACE MR0175 &103 for % of Phosphorus content in material composition.
