Mr. Adi,
 
There is nothiong to worry, There are strong chemicals available in the market to remove the paint. Just apply it on to the serrated surface with some brush evenly, wait for about five minutes, then just wipe off the paint with a piece of cotton rag. The whole paint will disappear within no time and the serrated surface will be as clean as though the flange is a new one!!
