as from ur words,
AWS D1.1 says only on Group number.
&
In Table 4.5, PQR essential variable.
point 29) a change in base metal or combination of basemetal not
listed in pqr or qualified by table 4.8.
that means
Group number is the only essential variable here for base metal.
no other variable for basemetal.
am i right?
& G.no taable for material is not given in aws d1.1. where to refer
for that?
