[MW:10931] UT & PAUT is allowed on 7.2 mm thk PIPE

Dear all,

 

Please clarify my below mentioned queries,

 

Can we use  Manual UT or PAUT (PHASE ARRAY ULTRASONIC TESTING) for finding defects in 18" API 5L X65 ,7.2mm thickness pipe.The pipe is longitudnal welded.We have to scan the only on the longitudnal seam.

 

Please confirm,weather the code permits to do UT on this thickness,if any code says please send me the details.

 

Also please clarify,if any code restricts the UT to any thickness limit(MIN/MAX)

 

If anyboby need more details,please ask me...
