Re: [MW:10782] Voltage for GTAW electrode 2.4mm and 3.2mm

Do you want to run pqr?
if yes, first of all, please have heat input. Heat input is expressed in the formula; H=60EI/1000S. Where H is heat input (
kJ/in or kJ/mm), E is arc voltage (volts), I is current (amps), S is travel speed (in/min or mm/min).
if you want to develop a procedure (WPS), just write what pqr said.

You can have the voltage range by doing mock up test. Then record the voltage reading[min, max] during the run. Make sure your welding machine ang other equipment in place.

Subject: [MW:10772] Voltage for GTAW electrode 2.4mm and 3.2mm

Dear sir.

What is the voltage range qualified for the GTAW electrode 2.4mm with an amp range 120-175 and 3.2mm with an amp range 150-220?

I can't find it in the standard code. I need this for my pWPS..
