Dear Yogesh Kumar,

Please clarify what is SBR.

dear sir,

We too have successfully implemented butt-welding in small bore piping up-to 1/2", of-course it's high pressure piping.

Just get the PQR done and develop WPS as per SecIX,

Recently, while a modification job ,problems of excess penetration came while often while welding small bore joints,so welder should be qualified for SBR before taking up the job.

regards.

Dear all
in small dia pipe, root welding is very difficult and skilled welder is
required, and also if root is not uniform it will obstruct the flow
