dear sir,

We too have successfully implemented butt-welding in small bore piping up-to 1/2", of-course it's high pressure piping.

Just get the PQR done and develop WPS as per SecIX,

Recently,while a modification job ,problems of excess penetration came while often while welding small bore joints,so welder should be qualified for SBR before taking up the job.
