You want to weld on dissimilar materials ? or each Grade separate. which electrodes you are using and position,and what is the purpose Example: Using for process piping, structural work etc.....
What kind of welding process you are using, FCAW,GTAW,SMAW? so that electrical parameters can be identified. exactly on which thickness you are going to test (PQR). according that range can be decided
Yes in the section IX it was mentioned, it is only meant for welding and welding qualifications
