[MW:10489] Post weld heat treatment of Chromium carbide overlay

Can you share your experience of post weld heat treating Chromium
carbide overlay? In our case the base metal is 2" carbon steel and
overlayed with Chromium carbide hard facing. We have to post weld heat
treat at 600°C for 2 hours. What there be any detremental effect in
hardness of hard facing or in the weight loss G65.
Any information available and shared is greatly appreciated. Thanks
